Signs of Brazil's upturn to be found in rising Reputation Contributions

As Brazil's long drawn-out political and economic crisis is giving the appearance of starting to move into the past investor appetite has put company reputations in the frame as one of the main drivers of the country's leading stock market, the Ibovespa. With the average Reputation Contribution up nearly 9 points to 24% by October 2017 the value attributable to companies' reputations has fuelled 34% of the rise seen in the index since early 2016. While financial results have yet to bear fruit the rising impact of reputation is proving to be a leading edge indicator of an upturn.
